• 1996: HATC was founded by Mr. Do Sy Hung, a Vietnamese agricultural and forestry expert, in Angola.
• 1998: HATC strengthened its relationships with local suppliers and began the timber harvesting process.
• 2000: Timber harvesting in Angola was completed. HATC was granted a business license by the Angolan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
• 2003: HATC expanded its operations in Angola by opening two additional sawmills and warehouses with a workforce of 100 employees.
• 2016: HATC officially exported its first timber order (50,000m3) to the United States and the Middle East. K-TIMBER was officially established and headquartered in Vietnam, with the goal of bringing African timber to the global market.
• 2018: K-TIMBER’s wood products were officially listed on Alibaba and our website, where partners worldwide can find us.
• 2020: HATC, in cooperation with K-TIMBER, successfully exported to over 30 countries worldwide, including the US, Turkey, Greece, Vietnam, Spain, and the Middle East.
• 2022: HATC continued to expand its harvesting operations.
• January 2024: K-TIMBER was proud to receive the TOP 10 ASEAN Promising Brand Award.

Over the next decade, we aim to become a TOP 5 timber exporter in Africa and a TOP 100 wood expert in the world.
