We believe that trust is essential in business, especially when there are geographical barriers and most of the work is done online. We are committed to providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

To meet the needs of new partners when doing business with K-TIMBER, we support partners to place orders with a minimum quantity of 1 container which is 25m3 for 20 feet container.

K-TIMBER understands that new partners often have small business scale and do not have much experience in the field of wood import. Therefore, we want to create the most favorable conditions for new partners to access and use K-TIMBER wood products.

Our term of delivery is usually CIF and FOB. The FOB Price will include the price of goods at the exporting port, including packaging, loading, export customs clearance, and other fees at the exporting port.

To help customers see more clearly the color and quality of wood as well as to build customer trust, K-TIMBER always supports sending samples to customers completely free of charge. Customers who request sample goods only need to pay shipping costs.

This is an extremely preferential policy of K-TIMBER for customers. Because the color and quality of wood are the most important factors that customers need to consider when choosing wooden products.

We quote timber prices to customers on a FOB and CIF basis. Specifically:

  • FOB price: FOB price is the price of goods at the export port, including the price of goods, domestic transportation costs, and loading costs, but excluding international transportation costs and insurance.
  • CIF price: CIF price is the price of goods at the import port, including the price of goods, international transportation costs, insurance costs, but excluding import duties and other costs incurred in the importing country.

K-TIMBER applies three main methods of drying wood, including:

  • Air Dried (AD): Natural drying by wind. This is the most common method of drying wood, with low cost. The moisture content of wood after drying using the AD method is <20%.
  • Steam heat drying (SHD): Drying wood with hot steam. This method helps wood dry faster and reach a lower moisture content (10-14%).
  • Vacuum drying (VD): Drying wood in a vacuum environment. This method helps wood dry the fastest and reach the lowest moisture content (6-9%).

K-TIMBER recommends that customers import wood with the condition of natural drying (Air Dried). This method ensures both the quality of wood and saves costs. However, if customers have high requirements for wood moisture, K-TIMBER can also provide wood dried by steam (Steam heat drying) or vacuum drying (Vacuum drying). However, with these two drying methods, customers will have to pay extra costs.

K-TIMBER commits to deliver goods on time as required in the contract. Specific delivery time will depend on the type of wood, quantity of wood and delivery location. For new customers, K-TIMBER will prioritize delivery according to production plans. In case customers need urgent delivery, K-TIMBER will try to respond within the allowable capacity.
