Alongside enhancing its timber extraction and processing quality, K-TIMBER also pays special attention to social activities aimed at raising awareness among the Angolan population about forest recovery and protection. Additionally, it actively constructs and develops infrastructure to improve the living standards of the Angolan community.

Educational Sponsorship

Recognizing that education is the most important foundation for developing a sustainable community, in 2022, K-TIMBER invested more than 2 million USD in scholarship programs and educational facilities in Luanda, Angola.

K-TIMBER has provided support for over 100 titles to 4 schools in Luanda. These titles include textbooks, reference books, life skills books, and foreign language books. The provision of these books aims to give students additional learning materials, enhancing their knowledge and skills.

Intensifying Reforestation Activities

From 2018-2019, K-TIMBER partnered with HATC to successfully plant over 2,000 tree species. To date, more than 5,000 hectares of land have been replanted with over 2 million trees, including native species such as Iroko and Sapele, to restore biodiversity and balance the ecosystem.
